Snowfall By Charlotte J. Chambliss

 Snowfall by google.com

Snow-capped mountains
hugged the rosy dawn,
And in their splashing fountains
formed a cluster of their own.
With priceless necessity
under their characters and rest,
Stood unrivaled
in their beauty:
Monarchs from the west.

Weekend Weakened

Today is Friday again,
Time has become quite a pain,
As soon as stuff turns tough,
Yelling at empty space won't be enough.

Clouds wear black,
The watch says 5 O'Clock,
Street lights confuse,
on PBS, I find no Olympic news.

Both Saturday and Sunday are troublesome,
The house is sick with weekend syndrome,
Thunders suddenly clap for a storm,
I decide to get out of my dorm.
